My art piece is meant to portray the feeling of having social anxiety. There was a time in my life where social anxiety was a huge problem for me. I was always worried about what other people were thinking about me and what I looked like. That’s what the eyes represent. When I had unhealthy social anxiety I was obsessed with the idea that everyone was always looking at me and seeing every flaw. I was drowning in these thoughts and would barely talk to people because I was scared. That’s what the girl in the water represents.
